The piece reimagines the most primitive loin loom traditionally a back-strap weaving tool into a contemporary design experiment by combining leather, cotton and paper. The loom highlights a dialogue between strength, flexibility and fragility. Leather provides the anchoring support; cotton carries the tactile softness of the weave, while paper unexpected and delicate becomes a symbolic layer of memory and impermanence. The innovation lies in merging these contrasting materials to reframe an age old tool: not only as a functional device but also an expressive object that connects tradition with materials exploration.
