PARABULA NG MATKA - THE FORAGER

A sculptural interpretation of the matka and tapayan, the piece draws on vessels historically used to hold and sustain everyday life. Woven rattan and hand-blown glass bring together material traditions from India and the Philippines within the form of
a mythical vessel.
